Each group will give a brief description of one of these topics, including what type of transport is involved, any disease states that are associated with their topic and any toxins that affect it/or were used to study it.

Chapter 12 in class exercise
1. Imagine that you are a hydrophilic molecule inside a red blood cell. How do you perceive the cell membrane? Write a brief description, including all the parts of a membrane. You may use an illustration, but you must fully discuss your figure in your text.
