Saturday, January 22, 2000, or Saturday January 8, 2000
10am-4pm

NEWS FLASH for the January 8, 2000 Work Party:

The meeting place is the Cosumnes River Preserve Farm Center, located at the corner of Desmond and Bruceville Roads. From Interstate-5, exit Twin Cities Road East for exactly one mile, to the first stop sign. Turn right/south at the stop sign, onto Franklin Boulevard, for exactly one mile. Turn left onto Desmond Road (the first possible left hand turn), for one mile, until the road dead ends. The Farm Center will be on the right.

Dressing in layers is good advice, plus wear sturdy walking shoes. The workday begins promptly at 10 am, late arrivals will not be able to "catch up."

If you have rubber boots, please bring them. Also, if you have lopers (gigantic scissors for cutting tree branches) please bring those.

On the day of the event, you can call Alex at (916) 416-7013 for rain cancellation information or if you are lost.
Bring a sack lunch and wear long pants and hiking boots if possible.  Soft drinks will be provided.
