Students who elect this option must attend one of the above preparation sessions at CSUS (in S209).   On January 28th you will introduce first graders to the wonders of mixing cabbage juice with vinegar and with baking soda solutions.

After you have completed this activity you will write a short description of your experience and answer the following questions using sentences in well organized paragraphs.  (Do not simply restate the question with terse incomplete answers.)

1.  Why did you select this activity?
2.  What did you do?
3.  How did this activity relate to what you learned in your  Chemistry class?
4.  What changes would you suggest for future participants?
