Cabbage Juice

Your group of 3-4 persons will need the following supplies:
  1. 1/8 head of cabbage, cut into thin strips
  2. Sturdy plastic bag
  3. Bottled water
  4. plastic spoons
  5. Clear plastic cups (4-6, 8 oz)
  6. Baking soda (1/2 cup, or more)
  7. Vinegar (4 oz or more)
  8. 3-4 Foods to be tested (they should be colorless, and liquids will work better)
  9. Paper towels (1 roll)
