Note:  No make-up quizzes are given. However, your lowest quiz score will be dropped.

Grading Options: Letter grade with plus/minus grading, or Credit/No Credit (optional). Request for CR/NC Option must be turned in to the instructor before April 7, 2004, and changed through Enrollment Services using an Add/Drop form.  Requests will not be accepted after April 6, 2004.  This course includes a laboratory component.  You must successfully complete the laboratory part of the course to earn a passing grade for Principles of Chemistry I.

Please Note: You must have passed the ELM or be exempt from taking the ELM to enroll in this course. This course will require you to use college level algebra skills. You will need a calculator that has scientific notation and log functions and know how to use it. Bring your calculator to every lecture, lab and discussion class.
